At The Sump Pump Company, we've learned from hard experience that if you don't have a backup sump pump, you don't have a sump pump at all! That's because ALL sump pumps eventually fail, and without a good backup system, you won't know the pump has failed until you have a flood! Everybody with a sump basin should have both a primary AND a backup system. Our Standard COMBO Sump Pump Systems are the easiest, most affordable way to get the right protection for your home and what you own.

A COMBO Sump Pump System, as the name suggests, combines a primary sump pump and a battery backup pump system. "Standard" COMBO systems (C22 & C33) are pre-assembled at the factory, complete with check valves and float switches already installed. We simply connect the single discharge to your existing pipe, hook up the battery and controllers, and you're good to go! Installation time is minimized with a Standard COMBO system, resulting in significant cost savings. If you have a typical home, our C33 COMBO system is probably perfect for you...

If your situation requires something Different or Designed to your Situation, Custom COMBO-SYSTEMS can mix & match any of our separate Primary and Battery Backup pump systems, and offers an additional $100 discount versus purchasing each one separately. For peace of mind and a lower cost, choose our C22 COMBO. The C22 comes with an ST1033 primary pump and a Pro Series 1730 battery backup system. This COMBO provides basic, reliable protection, including a complete battery backup system, for the lowest price possible.

Powerful 1/3 HP primary pump rated 46 GPM at 10' lift, pumps more water using less electricity than most others. Cast iron & cast aluminum primary pump construction for reliability & long life.
Backup pump capacity of over 28 GPM at 10' lift is comparable to many primary pumps.
Separate dual-float primary and backup pump switches (total of 4) to ensure reliability.

Our best selling pump system is the C33 COMBO. The C33 COMBO consists of an S3033 primary pump, coupled with the Pro Series PHCC Pro 2400 Battery Backup System. It combines all the great features of our most popular main & backup pumps, and it's pre-assembled, which saves you money.

Powerful 1/3 HP primary pump rated 50 GPM at 10' lift, comparable to many 1/2 HP pumps while using less electricity. Rugged stainless steel & cast iron construction for durability & long life.
Backup pump capacity of 40 GPM at 10' lift, more than many primary pumps.
Separate dual-float primary and backup pump switches (total of 4) to ensure reliability.
We automatically upgrade the factory C33 system to the DFC2 Deluxe primary pump controller, which exercises the pump regularly to verify that it functions; this also extends pump life. It adjusts to optimize pump run time to individual sump basin, and it alarms if the switch has been activated for more than 10 minutes (indicating possible problem with pump, switch or discharge piping).
System interfaces to home alarm or auto-dialer, ensuring you get the alarm.
Backup monitoring system shows remaining battery capacity and alarms to warn of power failure, activated backup pump (indicating primary pump problem), and battery problems such as dead/dying battery, low fluid level, or corroded or loose terminals.
